Caroline is a Director of Photography with five years’ professional experience working on a broad range of projects on both digital and film. She love’s to engage cinematographic-ally in topics that have social relevance, both in fiction and in documentaries. Some of her projects have covered topics such as ethnic minority orphans in Thailand with no rights, prostitutes campaigning for their right to be heard on decriminalization in the UK, or the complexities of young carers looking after chronically ill parents.
Caroline has worked on projects for broadcasters BBC, STV, Comedy Central, SkyArts and BAFTA. She is a member of BAFTA Crew and the BSC Cine Club and this year had a short film SPORES selected for the BSC New Cinematographer’s Night.
Caroline used to be a professional dancer and, coming from this artistic and active background, she loves to immerse herself in the rigors of the filmmaking process. Caroline was DOP for the feature film YOU CAN TUTU and have engaged in the fast-shooting pace of BBC’s drama DOCTORS.
