Gail is an experienced camera operator specializing in documentary, natural history and drama.
Her work has taken her around the globe from remote deserts and mountainous regions where conditions have been challenging: Nile, the Ultimate River, Terra Mater Factual and Among the Apes, Dragonfly, to high tech and heavily populated 1st and 3rd world cities to film fast paced human story sequences: Engineering the Impossible, Atlantic Productions and Atlas 4D, Darlow Smithson Productions.
An HSE qualified underwater film maker Gail has worked on productions that range from Ron Howards/Warner Brothers feature – The Heart of the Sea to the BBC landmark series Shark for the Natural History Unit and Animal Planets River Monsters.
Gail has experience on a wide array of broadcast cameras and filming techniques, using specialist technology including: the MoVi stabilisation system, Octocoptor for aerials, high speed and thermal imaging cameras. Combining technical expertise with creativity Gail has produced sequences for programming on the BBC, National Geographic, Discovery and Sky.
