Laura Jean Healey is an award winning filmmaker, who creates films and holographic installations and choreographs performances to explore the nature of the cinematic experience.  Laura has extensive experience in feature films, film installations and television including being mentored by the award winning BSC Cinematographer Seamus McGarvey; working as a camera Assistant, Data Wrangler, and Digital High Speed Technician on projects such as Guy Ritchie’s Knights of the Round Table: King Arthur,MaleficentGravityEdge of Tomorrow and World War Z; and collaborating with Musion Systems Ltd. to produce innovative High Definition holographic film installations for Will-I-AmBurberry Body Perfume and Yota.  These diverse experiences have inspired Laura to use new and emerging digital film technologies to create large scale, cinematic and innovative films and installations that seek to both engage and seduce her audience.

In particular, Laura produced the very first slow motion, holographic film installation filmed entirely underwater, The Siren.  This critically acclaimed film has been exhibited internationally and was awarded the Passion for Freedom Film Gold Award for it’s ‘artist value and powerful message embodying the freedom of women’ and the MAMA’s Corporate Award for its innovative artistic design concept using the Musion Eyeliner (holographic projection) system.
